Installation and Use of eduVPN at OTH Regensburg

The former FortiClient VPN of OTH Regensburg will be replaced by eduVPN in the future. eduVPN is a project maintained by GÉANT and is already in use at many universities and higher education institutions both in Germany and internationally. Further information about eduVPN can be found on the official eduVPN site eduVPN.

Using eduVPN should generally not result in any restrictions compared to the previous use of the FortiClient VPN. All hosts, servers, and services that are currently accessible via the FortiClient VPN will remain available and can be used in the usual way after connecting via eduVPN.

If services that were previously available are not reachable via eduVPN, please contact the support of OTH Regensburg Support.
